Thetraveljunkie.org – G’day legends! So, I finally got meself up in the clouds in Virgin Australia Business Class, flyin’ from Alice Springs to Brisbane, and let me tell ya – it was a bloody ripper of a ride. From the moment I rocked up at Alice Springs Airport, I felt like a proper VIP, even though I’m more used to the back row with the footrest stuck up. The business class lounge was top-notch – comfy chairs, unlimited snacks, and yeah, free booze – perfect to kick off the adventure. Boardin’ was smooth as a stubby sliding outta a chilly esky. Virgin’s crew greeted me like I was a long-lost mate, and the seat? Absolute legend. Proper reclining, heaps of legroom, and a tray table that actually fits me laptop and me avo toast. I gotta admit, it’s a far cry from economy – no elbows in your neighbour’s face, no awkward shoulder bumps. Just pure relaxation, mate.
Now, onto the grub – this is where Virgin really shines. Business class food isn’t just some sad sandwich in a paper bag. Nah, mate. We’re talkin’ full-on meals that make you feel fancy without having to sell your ute. I had a tender steak, some crispy spuds, and a cheeky wine to wash it down. Bloody hell, if I didn’t feel like a million bucks, I don’t know what would do it.
While cruisin’ over the red heart of Australia, the views from up top are unreal. Alice Springs and the surrounding Outback are a whole different vibe from the city. Virgin’s big windows let you soak it all in, and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics for the ‘Gram. It’s amazing how the landscape changes from dusty reds to lush greens as you head east towards Brisbane – feels like you’re travelin’ through a postcard.
Service on board? Top shelf. The crew were deadset legends, checkin’ in on us but never hoverin’. I even had a yarn with one of the flight attendants about their fave Aussie spots – nothing beats hearin’ local tips from someone who actually knows the ropes. It’s these little touches that make the whole business class experience more than just a flight – it’s a proper adventure in the sky.
By the time we landed in Brisbane, I felt recharged and ready to hit the streets. From the comfy seat to the delish meals and the top-notch service, Virgin Australia Business Class turns a simple flight from Alice Springs to Brisbane into a full-on experience. If you’re lookin’ to treat yourself without blowin’ the budget entirely, this is the way to go. Trust me, mates – once you’ve flown business with Virgin, goin’ back to economy feels like a cruel joke.
