A morning, we went to visit The Jan Power’s Farmers Markets at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
Aaaah it was very exciting to walk around and see the beginnings of a new local tradition.

This markets not exclusively done by, or for farmers. It is not a Farmers Market Co-operative. It is definitely a must-visit markets if you are traveling like a local.
There were all kinds of market stalls – fresh farm produce, organic products, exotic products, herbs and spices, flowers, art work, jewellery, accessories, bits, pieces, kitchen goods, wine and fowl under the sun.
There was also excellent street music, balloons, face painting and chefs cooking classes.

Brisbane’s inner-city multi-culturalism was really on display as well!
It was a feeling good grass roots experience with a social and community slant and a lot of fun.
