This stunning cliff top walk has historic significance as it was the first time the Union Jack was used to claim possession of Australia. An undulating track on well-maintained, mostly natural surfaces, Millionaires Walk is a fairly easy stroll, suitable for all-ages and popular with local seniors’ walking groups.

We decided to take a walk on the beach in the afternoon and we found this little rock pool for a winter swim in the ocean. We weren’t planning to swim, but when we saw the water, we were struck with spontaneous craziness, stripped off and jumped in. It was very icy. We always feel really great after a swim in the ocean.

Thetraveljunkie.org – We had a spectacular view of the London Bridge sunset in Portsea, only 10 minutes from our place. The sunset was so gorgeous. The light all around me turned an exquisite golden peach. The Portsea Surf Beach around me glowed orange. The sky began to turn on a spectacular gradient, from reds to pinks to purples to blues with a hint of green, if that’s even possible.

The taste of Javanese food never fails us Javaneses, and non-Javaneses who have fallen to the spell of Javanese cuisine. The glutinous green balls, covered in shredded coconut, are a treat for the sweet tooth, with the palm sugar sauce inside, bursting in the mouth upon the first bite.
