And if you ask for white sand, blue ocean and the sun you’ll know why it’s called heaven. They’re one of the best we’ve ever had! Another excuse to come back. And, enjoy a canoe ride on an evening is totally priceless.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Today we wanted to show you the photos that we took at Cidaon grazing grounds in Ujung Kulon National Park, where we travelled to a week ago to attend a party animal in the middle of the national park. We planned this trip months ago because one of our readers asked us to photograph one of the most important days of her life. The place was absolutely beautiful. Here are these lovely photos which smell of bos javanicus, green peafowl, sea and forest.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Looking up, looking down, looking forward! While were we in Peucang Island, we took a tropical bush walk somewhere off the island. It was so peaceful and beautiful! The colours of the trees were singing out with life in the soft forest light. I looked up and was mesmerised by the green, black and grey masterpiece printed in the sky. The surrounding forest area was stunning! The light, the colours, the sounds, the smells – oh it was all simply breathtaking. It looked like a movie set. Thetraveljunkie.org – Today we bring you the photos which we took in Handeuleum Island, one of the places that we were dying to see in Ujung Kulon National Park. We had the chance to play with Javan rusa or Sunda sambar. Yeah! it’s worth it to enjoy its suns, its colors, its mangos and coconuts. Can’t wait to share more.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Mother Nature! We must preserve its beauty for generations to explore. The rainforest is wonderfully wild and such an important part of our ecosystem, being the oldest surviving rainforest in the world. And, exploring the Cigenter river, Ujung Kulon National Park was an unbelievably fantastic experience. It’s remarkably peaceful and lovely here, yet full of primeval – rainforest and trees that have fallen into the river. The rich colors of the place are so wonderful, and the strong tropical sun creates great pools of mottled light on the river’s surface.
Thetraveljunkie.org – One of the most enjoyable things in Peucang Island, Ujung Kulon National Park was the sun setting. Every day we watched it from a different beach taking pictures and seeking the best light of the whole island. This snaps were at the Peucang Hills Beach, one of our favs. We only need three things: a rucksack full of goods, our camera and comfy shoes. We normally agree on what shoes to wear as was the case today. Bata comfy shoes are the perfect pair for a weekend away, they are so comfy. We know what we are talking about as we always walk for hours. Here are these lovely photos which smell of wood, forest and ocean.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We absolutely love tropical islands, it’s the perfect time of year to travel and get to know different places. We have been lucky enough to travel with some brands and see amazing places and have experienced great things. Today we wanted to share a video which we made for “why is the Ujung Kulon National Park so healing?”. We visited some islands, rainforest, and totally transports you to a summery atmosphere which makes you dream about palm trees, sun and the beach. Just a note, if you are thinking of coming please leave no trash behind. And take with only memories, photos and videos. And now the question is, where shall we go next?

During our month-long trip around Indonesia we changed up our suitcase a few times, leaving basic t-shirts behind to make space for the new stuff we bought. Thetraveljunkie.org – What’s your favourite thing to do in all seasons Jakarta Thamrin? One of my favorite is getting a therapist to come and give me a hour or two traditional massage in my bed before I go to sleep at night. Now that’s luxury.
Thetraveljunkie.org – The other day I went to Sky Loft at all seasons Jakarta Thamrin for dinner. The place was a very nice, clean, modern, fresh, hidden gem to dine at for a beautiful city view and some peace, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered St. Jaques Salad with grilled scallop, pacri ananas, petit of salad. Red Snapper Pesmol with aromatic javanese broth, potato cake, water cress, red baby chili. Almond Layer Cake with glazed apricot, brandy snap. And I had a mocktails of shirley temple. However the food arrived quickly.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Today we are publishing these photos which were taken in Jakarta a week ago when we had breakfast at all seasons Jakarta Thamrin. Even though it seems that it was ages ago, and November rain is already here, we are certain that there are plenty sunny days left. We hope to carry on wearing shorts and our tees a little bit longer.
