Last trip The Travel Junkie had planned to take Where Jac Wanders here for her birthday after seeing it online but it was already closed when we got there. I kept my promise and treated her to a yummy brunch. The food was typical Swedish and we loved the old world charm and lake views.

In today’s post we wanted to take you to Camp Leakey, it was established in 1971 by Dr. Biruté Galdikas and former spouse Rod Brindamour. It was named after the legendary paleo-anthropologist, Louis Leakey, who was both mentor and an inspiration to Dr. Galdikas as well as Drs. Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey.

According to their webpage the cafe was founded by a group of coffee-loving friends with “the vision of a better coffee world.” and with a mission to promote the craft by roasting tastier, more fun and more sustainable coffee.
Thetraveljunkie.org – A national park called Tanjung Puting in Central kalimantan, Indonesia, is a place a lot of travel junkies visit. You can see the Borneo Orangutans, beautiful sights, sometimes even incredible ones, when you are wandering there. Indonesia offers fertile ground for adventure – a place which truly exemplifies the phrase: “Where there’s a will there’s a way.”
Thetraveljunkie.org – During our trip to Malaysia we ate Nasi Lemak and Chinese food, but couldn’t leave Genting Highlands without stopping by at one of the trendy places of the place, Burger and Lobster. The burger culture it’s something real and that’s why this place is one of the most popular ones: the service is incredible, lobster is delicious and their hamburgers and chips are of the best we’ve tried. Just in case you ever hesitate whether to burger or lobster, always do burger and lobster.

A paradise for plants enthusiasts with thousands of trees, shrubs, and herbs from around the world. The famous Victoria House has the world’s largest water lily. Exotic plants thrive in the Victoria House and Edvard Anderson Conservatory. Café, shop, and restaurant.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Although it was summer when we were there this visit, the weather was still quite cool, especially later in the day so we were excited to get back to Kafe 44 and snuggle into its warmth and enjoy some delicious vegan and vegetarian food. This fantastic underground cafe was just as inviting as we remembered and the same staff looked after us in such a friendly way.

Thetraveljunkie.org – Instead of flying from Stockholm to Riga we decided to take Tallink’s cruise, the M/S Isabelle. The trip lasted about 18hrs and was indeed pleasant with everything from check-in at Stockholm’s Frihamnen Terminal to disembarkation at the Riga Passenger Terminal running smoothly. A most civilised and stress-free way to travel.

When in Cirebon, we discovered the Sunyaragi Caves. The interesting structure was encircled by a carpet of green grass and it looked like a combination of coral, canals, rocky resting huts, gapura and caves.
