Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Last week, my friends and I took a special dinner at Warung Pangkep fly over Sop Saudara & Ikan Bakar, Makassar.

I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.

From the outside, it looked unassuming, boring and plain.

Nothing special a step inside this and that. I know this is only a warung, not a luxury cafe haha!

The space was very large. Lots of elbow room. And lots of seating.

We arrived at 7pm. It wasn’t busy or noisy. The waitsaff were friendly, but looked quite confused when I took some photos.

I ordered the famous of sop saudara, a culinary identity of South Sulawesi.

It was freaking amazing!! That sop was soooooooo mouth-wateringly delicious.

I was very satisfied.

Overall.. Food was nice. Service was good. A bit pricey, but I’ll definitely be returning.
