Little Lagoon’s Outstanding Natural Beauty

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Yeah! We found a Little Lagoon, Western Australia.

Little Lagoon’s outstanding natural beauty helped contribute to Shark Bay’s World Heritage listing.

The lagoon is shallow, no more than 3 metres deep, and connected to the ocean via narrow creek.

The shallow water and restricted connection to the sea, coupled with the arid climate and high evaporation rates mean the water can become 1,5 times the saltiness of seawater during summer.

We spent a glorious afternoon there. We made a pile of treasure on the beach. Relaxed in the shade shelters and just took a lazy stroll around the lagoon edge.
