Thetraveljunkie.org – When in Victoria, we went down to Phillip Island for a unique coastal family retreat. We stayed at Cape Cabin where we found on airbnb, a charming two storey family holiday home with direct beach access immediately outside gate and views overlooking Bass Strait. The Cape Cabin was truly fantastic, the house is just wonderful. The location, the space, the amenities, the facilities, everything was just perfect.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We spent a glorious afternoon around Bredängs lake in Stockholm. I’m cruising down a small country road, surrounded by a tunnels of trees. We walked up and down the lake. I’m sitting at a jetty with my favourite travel buddy. We are laughing and singing and my heart glows — All the heartaches from the past, all the stress and sadness, melts away, and what is left is this glorious picture of the now —
Thetraveljunkie.org – We recently visited Suwe Ora Jamu’s Salihara outlet. Suwe Ora Jamu is a Javanese Jamu House serving traditional herbal drinks. We’ve always loved the house blends and Javanese snacks and meals at the other Suwe Ora Jamu outlets but what we really loved about the Salihara one is the fresh design.
Thetraveljunkie.org – When we arrived in Melbourne one of my bojo’s top requests was for an Aussie meat pie and her favourite ‘booby’ cakes. We went to Central Park Bakery which apparently hasn’t changed since she was a little girl walking there with her Mum and sisters. I’d always wondered just what a booby cake was and I saw where the name came from as soon as we got there. Little apple cakes with a shortbread crust and stewed apple, iced in white icing and topped with a little red cherry. Just like a booby!
Thetraveljunkie.org – A bed that gets you trapped, a bath to get lost for hours and an incomparable relax you’ll want for your life. On our last trip to Borobudur we were hosted in the Shankara Borobudur, where you can feel the perfect balance between Javanese style and that Borobudur golden years glamour.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We love winter. We’ve learn to love it and appreciate it more as the years go by and to find in it many things which is when we can really take in the snowed landscape. We headed to white Stockholm for a very special project and our final destination was a secret until we arrived there. We had no idea that we would end up in Liljeholmen.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We went to Chin Swee Caves Temple with a glass-floor gondola. We explored this religious site located on a sharp, rocky slope near the peak of Resorts World Genting, Malaysia. Visited the iconic nine-storey pagoda lit by lamps, the Sky Terrace, and the 15-metre high statue of Buddha. Besides worshipped the reverend Chin Swee, we prayed to Buddha and Kwan-yin, whose statues stand behind the five-storey temple.

Thetraveljunkie.org – William Ricketts Sanctuary was one of the highlights of our trip in Victoria, Australia. Hidden away in a dense inlet along the winding Mt Dandenong Tourist Road is the internationally renowned William Ricketts Sanctuary. The sanctuary is not only one the Dandenong’s more iconic experiences, but one of the most inspiring and tranquil places on the mountain.

Thetraveljunkie.org – Food is not rational. Food is culture, habit, craving and identity. And, during our last visit to Pattaya we went to the Silver Lining, the world 1st sliding restaurant. We filled with lots of light and very welcoming. The menu is full of delicious things.
Thetraveljunkie.org – The other day, we went to Tanjung Puting National Park in Central Kalimantan. By far the best way to see Tanjung Puting National Park is by hiring a klotok or wooden-boat for a few days. It serves as your transportation, hotel and restaurant.
