The Wondrous Temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

Thetraveljunkie.org – The freedom that you feel when days are slightly longer, you have less responsibilities and you have more time for yourself and to enjoy the magic word: holiday. When in Chiang Mai, We went all the way up to the wondrous and holy temple of Wat Phra That which is on top of Doi Suthep Hill, at 3,520 feet above sea level, finds the revered golden Phra That (chedi) of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep rises against the sunlight. The temple was built in 1383 to enshrine Buddha’s relics.

Where To Eat Khao Soi in Chiang Mai

Thetraveljunkie.org – One of the things that we love most about traveling is organising foodie routes in all the different cities that we go to. When in Chiang Mai, We felt drawn towards Chiang Mai Celadon. The place is gorgeous and the Khao Soi is to die for. It’s basically yellow egg noodle, with rich coconut curry soup, some meat (beef or chicken), and crispy noodle on top. Very rich that you always end up craving for more. Thetraveljunkie.org – Sometimes, when we reminisce about our trip to Thailand we struggle to decide what our favourite city is. Bangkok is breathtaking, futurist and totally amazing but Chiang Mai has something which we absolutely adored: magic. We loved getting lost around Chiang Mai, especially around the Chiang Mai Celadon. It was great to walk around aimlessly and take in its Thai wooden houses, lemongrass tea houses, makes, tourists dressed in regional dress, ceramics factory and cultural gallery as a backdrop.

Learn To Cook Kao Tom Mud At Chiang Mai Celadon

Thetraveljunkie.org – I love cooking and it definitely relaxes me. When in Chiang Mai, I attended a “Thai dessert cooking class” courtesy by Chiang Mai Celadon. We arrived at an amazing Thai traditional house. I liked what I saw. I took a seat, and the first thing our chef said to the class was, “This is a hand’s on class! And you’re going to be cooking a Thai dessert”. Kao Tom Mud (Banana sticky rice) is a Thai dessert made with sticky rice, coconut and a variety of additions to taste, bananas, all wrapped up in banana leaves.

Night At The National Museum Bangkok

Thetraveljunkie.org – One of the things that we like most about traveling is being able to meet new place. We were lucky enough to meet up with the National Museum Bangkok, founded in 1887 by the King Rama V, who ordered the move of ancient artifacts and antiques stored in The Grand Palace to the former palace of late prince viceroys. More buildings were later constructed when there were more precious items to exhibit, such as the main building which was built in 1967 and the Buddhaisawan Chapel which was built in 1787 to enshrine Phra Buddha Si Hing, a sacred Buddha image.

The THAI Simulator Experience in response to customer who were interested in aviation and flying. To experience flying in an aircraft simulator, the THAI Simulator Experience program is offering a special promotion to practice flight skills in these simulators: Airbus A380-800, A340-500/600, A330-300, A300-600, Boeing B747-400, B777-200/300, B737-400. All simulator experience under the supervision of actual Thai pilots as flight instructors.
