Traveljunkieindonesia.com – I have some fabulous new updates from the Ullen Sentalu Museum to share with you, where International Travel Bloggers spent much of last month.
It was so much FUN!
Another day in Jogja, we went to the world’s largest Buddhist temple for a sun rise in the morning. And, we spent 1/4 the day at the Ullen Sentalu Museum.
Ssssssttttt….! I secretly took some photos in this museum.
The Ullen Sentalu Museum is a surprise find on the slopes of Merapi. It devotes itself entirely to the richness of Javanese culture, and is one of the best museums in Indonesia.
Unusually, it focuses heavily on notable woman of Java, particularly the wives of sultans, through pictures and stories.

Batik also takes pride of place; here you can gauge the subtle differences between Yogya and Solo design, alongside those from coastal towns to the north.
once you’ve had your fill of culture, the museum’s peaceful restaurant is a fine place to while away an hour or two.
It’s a beautiful concept and we loved it. For me, the rated it 10/10 for edutainment and fun.
Like I said, fantastic day.
Happy Green Travels!
