Thetraveljunkie.org – We did a trip to Almere and took advantage of whatever little spare time we had to get to know New Land, modern architecture meets futuristic urban planning, all while embracing the water and nature that surrounds Holland’s new land – just 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Since then, Almere became one of our favourite ‘European New Towns‘, a suspicion which was reinforced by our latest stay in Almere: we cannot wait to go back.
