Thetraveljunkie.org – When in Munich, the alarm sounds at 4am in the morning. We close our suitcases and leave hotel. The sprawling capital of Poland is waiting for us. In Warsaw, it’s the Muzant, entered on our Must-Visit List, it’s Warsaw’s secret music paradise. And, if I were not a travel blogger, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.

Thetraveljunkie.org – We’ve been in so many hotels during our life, but JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta is without doubt the one with more personality. It is the perfect place to eat, sleep, read, work, enjoy the city views from the room. One of the things that makes this hotel so special are the rooms.
Thetraveljunkie.org – When we were exploring Tanjung Puting National Park, so we visited this areas in Tanjung Puting: Pondok Tangui and Camp Leakey. We started the day traditional boating through the river that have amazing views. Then we had lunch in Camp Leakey area and we finished the day trekking in the forest.
Thetraveljunkie.org – It was almost by chance that we visited Pekalongan on our last trip to Central Java. The reason was just practical, thinking about the trains, Indigo Batiks and that the places we really wanted to visit were all around Pekalongan. In the end, that decision was a success, we loved what we found there.
Thetraveljunkie.org – After such a hectic trip in Stockholm we decided that it was time to slow down and recover from all the madness, so when our friend and Innsbruck invited us to spend two weeks in one of their amazing city we did not think about it twice. We were able to enjoy our stay in our local friend, with Austrian and Japanese atmosphere, we were able to relax surrounded by peace and nature.
Thetraveljunkie.org – In today’s post we wanted to take you to Millesgården in Stockholm, a spectacular museum built on terraces is the former home of artists Carl and Olga Milles. In the park, some of Carl Milles most famous sculptures are on display. Original castings and tools are shown in the large studio. Art gallery, museum shop, and bistro.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We love indigo. We also love batik so when we heard about Zahir and his love of these two we couldn’t wait for the chance to spend time with him and learn more from him. Zahir really developed his love of batik during his time as museum manager at the Batik Museum in Pekalongan. Fascinated by the history of this art form, he was responsible for Indonesian batik getting its UNESCO rating.
Thetraveljunkie.org – If you like special and inspiring places, good coffee and Swedes food, this place is made for you. Cafe Uddvillan was a ‘must visit’ this trip. Last trip The Travel Junkie had planned to take Where Jac Wanders here for her birthday after seeing it online but it was already closed when we got there. I kept my promise and treated her to a yummy brunch. The food was typical Swedish and we loved the old world charm and lake views.
