Traveljunkieindonesia.com – After watched an amazing welcome dance at Port Kumai. We jumped into the the klotok and stared cruising to Tanjung Harapan while lunch.
Tanjung Harapan is one of orangutan rehabilitation and release posts in Tanjung Puting National Park – Central Kalimantan, the most astonishing place you could ever imagine.
I’m glad I did. It was 3 hours drove to Tanjung Harapan through the Sekonyer river, but worth every minute of the journey.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – The other day, I was invited to brunch at Warung Soto Sawah Bu Harso, a traditional javanese restaurant in Solo, Central Java.
We sat down in the ‘gedek’ wood-house with a great kroncong tune from local musicians.
And, we ordered ice tea and Soto Bening campur – javanese soup with thin slices of beef and chicken, herbs, bean sprouts, steamed rice, fried onions and a melody of fresh celery.

The first geothermal wells in Indonesia were drilled at Kamojang in 1926 by the Dutch colonial government.
Kawah Kamojang, the site of the first modern geothermal plant that has defused the once spectacular geyser activity and replaced it with huge pipes.
