A windsound in the desert is a beautiful tune! In the silence and oppressive heat at noon or under the stars at night, are like music.
First view of the desert nearly took my breath away. I saw that there are thousands of these bizarre formations spread over a vast desert area.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – The other day, I met up with my friend and his uncle (who was in town from Sanur) for dinner at the seafood stalls area near the entry gate to Serangan Beach, Bali.
Offers Balinese style grilled fish, with decent prices and taste.
We arrived at 6pm. It was busy or noisy with Balinese language. Yeah! this place is very local, and the waitstaff were friendly.

I stayed in Senggigi with my expat friend family. It was so much fun, very relaxing and just lovely to get away from our routine for a bit.
One afternoon, a friend of mine took us running on some roads – and I enjoyed it soooo much!

Gili Nanggu is a tiny island west of Lombok, and only takes 30 minutes on a wooden boat to get there from Sekokang. There is no Universal Studio, no shopping malls, no 5-star hotels, or fancy restaurants.
In fact there’s not much to do there but ride a wooden boat, snorkling, diving and sleep on the beach.
