Travel Like A Local at Chet Samian Old Traditional Market, Ratchaburi – Thailand

Thetraveljunkie.org – I have heard so much about the Chet Samian or Jed Samian or the ancient 119-year-old Chet Samian Traditional Market in Ratchaburi, but I’ve never been there before.

It is about 100 kilometers away from Bangkok, and it is famous for its rich culture, local handicrafts and amazing food.

The market still preserves its unique characters representing admirable culture and lifestyle.

It felt like one big crazy marketplace!

I wish I had enough time to visit and try all the local food.

And, I found a gorgeous group of Thai musician and a photography exhibition beside the Mae Klong river. Beautiful!

Chet Samian is definitely worth a visit. Ah I wish I had more time to explore and enjoy the delicious mix of old and new world sights.

Discover Thainess!
