Thetraveljunkie.org – Some weeks ago, during our journey around Java Islands, we visited Jakarta and stayed in Pullman Jakarta Indonesia, right in the heart of the famous Hotel Indonesia traffic circle (Bundaran HI). Every time we travel, hotel picking is the toughest part for us, we’re so critical and always try to look for the perfect fit. Something that makes us feel home and wows us with its decoration.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We visited for the first time the Asari Timo Beach with just one objective: discover why people say it’s the happiest beach in Karimunjawa Islands. After a 12 hours, we knew the reason why. Good environment, silence, healthy food, simple plans, enjoy the wind and the ocean, smiles. How could we transmit all of this in just one sentence? Relaxing in contemporary Kamojan style. To be fair, if you want to understand it, you have to feel it so… We made 12 hours Asari Timo Beach photos. Enjoy it!
Thetraveljunkie.org – Today we bring you the photos which we took in Geleang Island in Karimunjawa Islands, Central Java. One of the most photogenic locales on the planet. It’s an incredible natural space where you can enjoy nature while having the place to yourself. We still wonder whether our experience was nothing but a dream. It certainly seemed so. With its vibrant colours, nature is eye-catching. We especially like capturing unique perspectives on scenes that are well known to be beautiful images.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We went to one of our favourite island, Geleang Island in Karimunjawa Islands, to chill out in the sun and underwater. We were utterly intoxicated by all the colours around us. The sky and ocean. The sparkly water. The seaweed. We love the ocean. We love the colours and shapes, forms and textures of the underwater world. We derive so much inspiration and pleasure from watching various aquatic organisms move around in water. Even watching seaweed sway in the current makes us feel so relaxed and happy.
Thetraveljunkie.org – The Karimunjawa Islands are calm and still, there’s so much silence and beauty all around. Spending the days lying on the beach, eating out at local restaurants and sipping cocktails being on a romantic spot. Nothing against dipping your foot in a blue lagoon at sunset. We wanted to live an experience together we would never forget. We love to explore, discover new places and are very curious about what is out there.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Karimunjawa islands sun made our visit even more special. We wanted to share with you what you could do if you’re planning on spending a sun setting there. A trip in Karimunjawa Islands is not the same if you don’t hire a motorbike and you’ll soon realise this as soon as you step foot in the main island.
Thetraveljunkie.org – We love nature and appreciate it more as the years go by and to find in it many things which. we can’t find elsewhere: peace, freedom and inspiration. Pictures from last trip in Karimunjawa Islands, a fishing village, for a very special project and our final destination was a secret until we arrived there. We had no idea that we would end up in Karimunjawa Islands, and it turned out to be one of the most incredible places we’ve ever been to.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Whenever we think about paradise we always tend to think about a faraway place, one of those that can only be reached by a long-haul plane ride. But the more we travel, the more we value our country and we’ve realised that the best paradise is much closer than we’d thought. The Karimunjawa Islands are, in our opinion, paradise and a true gem. It offers adventure, peace, nature, great food, respect for the environment, freedom and happiness. There’s such a huge contrast in the landscape: you can be on a beautiful beach and suddently come across forest. Karimunjawa Island will always be our paradise.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Oh la lá! If we had to think of a list of our favourite world islands, Geleang Island in Karimunjawa archipelago would undoubtedly make the top fifty. It’s a real pleasure to visit time and time again, as there’s always new things to see and discover despite the fact that we also like to go back to places where we’ve been before.
Thetraveljunkie.org – During our holiday down in Karimunjawa Islands, we visited some tropical tiny islands. And the boat was waiting for us to spend the rest of the day under the sea again and again. The colours were just amazing. The water was calling me, so we grabbed a mask, fins and jumped in without much thought. Oh gosh! We instantly loved it!
Thetraveljunkie.org – Life has been pretty damn good lately! We’ve been hanging out at the beach a lot. The other day we spent the day at Asari Timo Beach, which is at Kemojan Island, about a 1 hour ride from Karimunjawa Island. An exquisite beach, a deserted beach, a crystal clear lagoon teaming with shells, clams, starfish, stonefish, crabs, fish, slugs, and sea weed. Every crevice was exploding with colour and movement. The beach was littered with amazing aquatic treasures – broken corals, cute pebbles, sparkling shells. The ocean looked as still as a pond. It was simply amazing.
