Thetraveljunkie.org – Hello from Aomori, Japan! We are over the moon to be writing from one of our favourite cities in the world, the city of always something new. During our trip to Aomori we came across a 15 storied and 76 meter high triangular building, shaped like a letter “A” from Aomori is the tourist centre “ASPAM“, a base facility offering tourist information of Aomori. Here we can feel and learn all about Aomori including tourism, specialties, and local cuisine.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Sometimes, when we reminisce about our trip to Japan we struggle to decide what our favourite city is. Tokyo is breathtaking, futurist and totally incredible but Aomori has something which we absolutely adored: magic. We left the airport at 7AM and we got the Tohoku Shinkansen to Aomori. We will forever remember the view of between Tokyo station and Aomori Station and seeing them in spring, with all the trees in bloom, must be stunning. Any excuse is valid to go back.

If you follow us on social media you’ll know that we are spending an incredible spring in the Tohoku Region in Japan thanks to an amazing offer that we found on the ANA best deals site. This year we decided to make our dreams come true and Japan had always been on our to-do list. The experience so far has been absolutely fantastic and it has exceeded all our expectations, so much that Tohoku has weaved itself into our favourite regions list.
Thetraveljunkie.org – If you think Paris is amazing during the day or night, we assure you that it’s even better at afternoon. The city has a distinct buzz and places like Rue Linois, Rue du Commerce or Avenue Emile Zona come alive with plenty of colours. There are boutiques, restaurants, cafes, flower stalls and plenty of places that we didn’t even know what they were.
Thetraveljunkie.org – April in Paris! We went to an unforgettable cruise party hosted by AccorHotels on the Seine river to rediscover the full splendour of the river banks and monuments of Paris. It was a spring party with a very spring theme. We danced to the rhythm of live music and dj. It had been a while since we had such a good time at a party, this has undoubtedly been one of the best yet. Paris, we love you!
Thetraveljunkie.org – Time goes by so fast. We don’t know whether it is because of our job or our lifestyle but we really do think that time flies. That is why we are trying to make the most of it and are trying very hard to enjoy our free time. Whenever we have a spare moment and we want to relax, we do what we love the most; photography. In today’s post, we wanted to show you some of our favourite photographs featuring Paris sunset with cruise on the Siene river. We don’t have a time machine but we think that photography is the best way to ensure that we slow down, something which we all need every once in a while. Savour every moment.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Montmartre is one of Paris’s most famous quarters and the Basilique Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) really does have something for everyone. It’s a Roman Catholic church and familiar landmark in the city as well as the busiest, so coming across a thousand other people when visiting is actually the norm. The view from there is amazing, but be careful with scam in this area!
Thetraveljunkie.org – Stay in the heart of the capital at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. This dramatic high-rise Paris hotel, located by the Mirabeau Bridge on the Left Bank of the River Seine, is minutes from the Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse, as well as Etoile Place via the metro.

We took advantage of some spare time to walk around the city and eat Asian noodles (yes, Asian noodles in Paris) at Les Saveurs, a restaurant that we found on Boulevard De Grenelle which makes the most delicious noodles! As you know, it is one of our favourite cities in the whole world and the best setting to show off our Zara leather jacket. We are pretty sure that we will wear these pieces loads this season. Thetraveljunkie.org – Returning to Paris is always a pleasure (even if it is just mentally) and we wanted to show you these photos which we took in a gloomy afternoon. We have just found them in a hidden folder in our computer and we are now dying to return to the city of lights. We would of course reach for a black jacket in today’s weather, but Paris is always Paris.
Thetraveljunkie.org – Here is the video that we filmed in Paris, it’s one of our favourites to date! We loved having breakfast al fresco, tucking into homemade croissants, tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was the best way to relax because there was no wifi!
