Chilling at Indische Buurt, Amsterdam

Thetraveljunkie.org – The other day, we went to Indische Buurt for work and spend some time getting lost in this amazing city. The weather was not that great so we decided to spend the afternoon in the kapsalon, book store and got a rejuvenating massage. We grabbed some food, where we have gone lots of times and went for dinner at Badhuis Javaplein, for the first time, and now we are completely hooked. These kind of experiences make travelling such a pleasure. The perfect way to enjoy time away from our routine.

When I saw the 12,000 music CDs, I was struck with spontaneous craziness, stripped off and jumped in – in my black-major fx headphone from Marshall. When it rained, we did a lot of sitting around and listening. I finished 5 CDs and 2 books, which felt awesome to accomplish.

During our most recent trip to Amsterdam we checked out one of our favourite Italian restaurant. we felt drawn towards La Storia Della Vita, a very cosy Italian restaurant in the Centre Canal District. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food is to die for. We will definitely be going back and we hope that it will be sooner rather than later.

Lontong Sayur For Breakfast at Alila Jakarta

Thetraveljunkie.org – This morning is the one day that I fancy going out (not a room service) for breakfast in Alila Jakarta and I came accross one of my fave restaurants, Buzz restaurant. It is tastefully decorated and boasts a brilliant menu. I retired to my favourite window with a Lontong Sayur and had the most lovely 15 minutes of morning bliss. Fantastic!
