Lunch Time in Gili Trawangan

Thetraveljunkie.org – Today I wanted to show you the photos that I took in Gili Trawangan when I worked on the Pearl of Trawangan shoot. I cannot wait to see the end result! I took advantage of some spare time to walk around the island, eat a pad Thai rice noodles (yes, pad Thai rice noodles in Gili Trawangan) and drink a mango juice at Pearl Beach Lounge, a lounge which makes the most delicious pad Thai rice noodles!

Thetraveljunkie.org – If there’s something you must visit when coming to Gili Trawangan, that’s Pearl Beach Lounge. It’s the exotic center of the island – a trip to all senses.

It’s perfect to get lost around the best foods and drinks in island, where we had breakfast, or around one of the dozens of restaurants or bars there are – full of unique pieces that you will die for- like Nasi Goreng with chicken (Indonesian style fried rice, vegetables and chicken), watermelon juice and Balinese black coffee.

Sunset in Gili Trawangan

Thetraveljunkie.org – One of the most enjoyable things in Gili Trawangan was the sun setting. Every day we watched it from a different spot taking pictures and seeking the best light of the whole island. This snaps were at Gili sunset beach and the Gili Trawangan hill, a hill to the west and one of our favs. Truth is, my holidays was totally improvised and last minute I realized I was missing a very important piece: swimsuit!

Virgin Beach Again, Bali

Thetraveljunkie.org – Hello everyone! After a one and half hour drive from the Primebiz Kuta, we landed in Virgin Beach. The expats had called it White Sand Beach, rather than Virgin Beach, though its Balinese name is Pasir Putih. I had a lot of good memories here.

Today we show you Virgin Beach pics. We were so lucky with the weather. It was just spectacular! The sand was still beautiful… fine, soft, smooth and squeaky clean. It’s got the best beaches of the east of Bali, some areas of crystal clear water -cool for snorkel!- and amazingly it’s not too crowded.

25 Photos That Will Make You Fall In Love With Tenganan Village, Bali

Thetraveljunkie.org – During our stay at Kuta Bali we stayed at Primebiz Kuta. One of the reasons we chose the Primebiz Kuta was its location, 5 minutes from the international airport, ideal for both having days exploring the island and getting lost between the lost paradises of the keys.

If Sydney is the city that never sleeps, I could say that Bali is the island that never bores. Truth be told, our Bali trip has been very special, and a lot of it has to do with renting a car. We started our trip in Bali heading to Tenganan Village, the eastern spot in Bali.

[VIDEO] Wonderful Borobudur Sunrise

Thetraveljunkie.org – Worth waking up early for this wonderful Borobudur sunrise scene. Borobudur temple in central Java is the largest Buddhist structure on earth. It consists of six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, decorated with relief panels and hundreds of Buddha stupas.

The morning sun washing over the monument gives it an ethereal glow, surrounded by the slowly lifting mist of the surrounding forest, and truly makes Borobudur feel like a sanctuary.
