The Betawian Party With Es Selendang Mayang
Thetraveljunkie.org – While I was holidaying in Jakarta, some friends took me to the Betawian party. And I enjoyed it soooo much!
My friends and I made there pretty Es (ice) Selendang Mayang, a betawian delicious to serve in sunny afternoon. It tasted fantastic – insane yumminess!

On my other day in Jakarta, staying in the capital city of traffic-jam, we took a road that ‘snaked through the hills just inside city’.
No farms, no rice terraced hills, no random livestock, the city are full of a stress, s*%k, and f&*k life.
On The Road… From Semarang To Magelang

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – The natural environment is of course very impressive. We drove down the Semarang and we had to stop in Magelang to see the Borobudur temple with our own eyes.
On the road… we were accompanied by a beautiful bright sky and long rice field as we continued our journey.
Belle and Sebastian’s Little Lou, Ugly Jack, Prophet John became our theme song for this trip.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! I was able to experience a party hard at Gadjah Wong Restaurant, Yogyakarta.
It was very, very popular. I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.
The restaurant was nice, east meet west. We sat at the Kura-Kura Room – presents a more traditional atmosphere where travel junkies are accompanied by gamelan ensemble and Javanese decoration.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! I was able to experience a 4-course meal wonderful lunch at the Beukenhof restaurant, Yogyakarta.
I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.
I was pretty excited. The restaurant was nice, cosy, east meet west with an exquisite of ambiance colonial accent furnishes.

Plataran Borobudur – “Magical Plataran Mystical Borobudur”.
We arrived at 7pm. Taking a step inside the restaurant, and we were greeted with an eclectic mix of retro furniture, Javanese luxury bits and pieces, vintage this and that.

The memories of our visit will always stay close to my mind and heart. Amanjiwo means “peaceful soul”. Without a shadow of a doubt the place breathes the name itself.
The excellent service at the Amanjiwo Resort makes the magical days spent at Borobudur perfect for rejuvenation and relaxation.
Mamuya Hot Springs in Galela, North Halmahera

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! While we were in Tobelo. We visited Mamuya hot spring in Galela, North Halmahera.
Galela is a region best for its beautiful forests, tropical farms, rice fields, springs and overall stunning views. It is only 15 kms (about 45 minutes drive) from Tobelo town.
We arrived at 5pm (millions of locals take a bath and wash on the springs) when the hot spring is considered to be the holiest and most auspicious. Damn, it wasn’t a dream!
