Living In The Real World

On my other day in Jakarta, staying in the capital city of traffic-jam, we took a road that ‘snaked through the hills just inside city’.

No farms, no rice terraced hills, no random livestock, the city are full of a stress, s*%k, and f&*k life.

On The Road… From Semarang To Magelang

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! I was able to experience a party hard at Gadjah Wong Restaurant, Yogyakarta.

It was very, very popular. I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.

The restaurant was nice, east meet west. We sat at the Kura-Kura Room – presents a more traditional atmosphere where travel junkies are accompanied by gamelan ensemble and Javanese decoration.

I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.

I was pretty excited. The restaurant was nice, cosy, east meet west with an exquisite of ambiance colonial accent furnishes.

We arrived at 7pm. Taking a step inside the restaurant, and we were greeted with an eclectic mix of retro furniture, Javanese luxury bits and pieces, vintage this and that.

Mamuya Hot Springs in Galela, North Halmahera

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! While we were in Tobelo. We visited Mamuya hot spring in Galela, North Halmahera.

Galela is a region best for its beautiful forests, tropical farms, rice fields, springs and overall stunning views. It is only 15 kms (about 45 minutes drive) from Tobelo town.

We arrived at 5pm (millions of locals take a bath and wash on the springs) when the hot spring is considered to be the holiest and most auspicious. Damn, it wasn’t a dream!
