After recharging our batteries we went to Laweyan, one of the city’s most touristy places, and it is definitely worth it for the Batik. If you add good weather, a bike and Solo’s exquisite light, then your day is absolutely perfect.

The Oasis Museum in South Tangerang

Thetraveljunkie.org – Today I take you to one of my favorite spots to let go and enjoy. The Oasis Museum, I called it, which opened in 2010, has since welcomed hundreds of patrons, most of whom heard about it through word of mouth. There are around 500 items on display, including CDs, cassettes, vinyl, videos, official merchandise, T-shirts, posters, calendars, magazines and many more.

Garuda Indonesia Behind the Scenes

Thetraveljunkie.org – I made my way into the city to attended a special program #GAbehindTheScene at Garuda Indonesia Training Centre and GMF Aeroasia Hangar. Garuda Indonesia Training Centre provides a complete facility for all cabin crew and pilot to have important trainings such as: emergency landing or evacuation training, flight simulator, etc. And, GMF Aeroasia Hangar provides the maintenance facility for all flights as well as other airlines. GMF Aeroasia had just launched its 4th Hangar which claimed to be the world’s biggest maintenance facility for narrow body aircraft.

Thetraveljunkie.org – The morning after we went for breakfast at our wooden-boat. We tucked into some delicious Indonesian noodle bowls, the perfect way to start a super hot day. I am absolutely loving all the colors in Peucang Island! The lush, rich, deep, mossy emeralds and forest greens are making my heart beat with sheer delight. I feel so happy and healthy just looking at it all. Everyday we fall in love more and more with Ujung Kulon National Park.
